Red Ribbon Week
16 - 23 October
The Alabama National Guard's Drug Demand
Reduction Office is pleased to be providing each public school with red
ribbons again this year. Each Title IV Coordinator will be
provided the name of an Army National Guard recruiter who will be
delivering your red ribbons. If you do not receive your ribbons by
October 3, 2007 please refer to this list and contact the recruiter in
your county. If you can not contact the recruiter please contact
1LT Ronnie Davis at our office at (334) 213-7649.
Red Ribbons will be distributed to each school
system based on the school registration data provided to our office by
the State Board of Education. It will be your responsibility to
determine the number of ribbons needed for each school. You are
free to talk with your recruiter/point of contact for assistance in the
delivery of the ribbons.
It is our hope that these ribbons will be the
inspiration for Red Ribbon Week and many drug prevention activities.
