“Take A Stand With The Minuteman:
Be Drug Free”

FREEDOM CALLS will help students realize that being free is a matter of choice.  Through good decisions, they can take control of their futures, instead of being enslaved to poor choices and the consequences they bring.  This presentation will teach students to protect their personal freedom by living their lives with:
CONVICTION  -  Defining what you believe is right and wrong, and being prepared with a plan of action when compromising situations arise.
COURAGE  -  Having the inner strength to follow those convictions, in the face of pressure to compromise.
AMBITION  -  Learning to focus on specific goals, that will lead to success and positive personal growth.
Movie clips from Hollywood’s latest films, a soundtrack of today’s popular music, and inspiring true stories all serve to communicate this message:  freedom always has its price.  And even though rejecting peer pressure may mean paying a price in terms of popularity, nothing can compare with living a life confident of good choices - a life of Freedom.

This powerful new presentation is being produced in partnership with Motivational Productions, the nation’s leader in educational multi-media productions.  Motivational Productions’ unique three-screen presentations are seen annually by approximately 4 million students around the country.  In addition, the company has been the proud recipient of over 25 national awards for excellence in the industry.

Along with the expertise of Motivational Productions, excellent follow-up opportunities will provided by the National Guard, including community involvement and online resources.  This emphasis on effective reinforcement of the show’s message will ensure a long-term impact.

The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention & The National Guard are confident that FREEDOM CALLS will help thousands of teenagers who are wrestling with difficult decisions.  Through this powerful program and strategic follow-up materials, our youth will be empowered to make positive choices that will not only enrich their own lives, but will also strengthen our nation’s schools and communities.
